Kai lives in your menu bar. The mark follows the capture mode you pick, waits with you while Kaipu asks for permission, and celebrates once setup is done. The rest of the time, he stays out of the way.

Kaipu is our own brand construction inspired by these two ideas, not a literal Quechua translation.

Kaipu suggests zooms from your clicks. Trim the ends, mute a cough, cover an API key. Your original stays untouched.

Your files
Your library is a folder.
Every recording is an MP4 and every screenshot a PNG, in ~/Movies/Kaipu Record. Open them with anything. Move them anywhere.
